WHAT GIRLS ARE DOING!
Mission: Sisterhood Senior Journey Weekend
The weekend of November 4-6, 2016, 16 Senior Girl Scouts from different parts of the council came together at Camp Swannie for a weekend of fun and learning as they completed the Senior Mission: Sisterhood Journey. They learned about what "sisterhood" is, different kinds of friends and relationships, what kind of personality they have and how to either "speak up" or "tone it down!" They got to play some games, act goofy, make S'Mores at the campfire (of course) all while reinforcing the bonds of sisterhood that they formed that weekend. Below is the video they made for their take action project.

The Seniors interviewed girls and leaders from other Girl Scout troops that were staying at Camp Swannie the same weekend. They asked each person three questions: 1. What does "sisterhood" mean to you? 2. What do you look for in a friend? 3. When I say "beauty" what do you think of? Three Daisies, three Cadettes, three Seniors, and three troop leaders were interviewed. |
